The location is a big plus: on a very pleasant little square with a view of the keep. The meal was decent.

Pleasant terrace at this time, 7:30 pm. Good atmosphere, friendly waiters and waitresses, our meat was cooked perfectly, and the portion size was just right for small eaters like us. Reasonable price for a set menu (main course and dessert) €25.

I'm sitting on the terrace, I've just finished my meal, and it was delicious. The food was plentiful and very flavorful. The meat was cooked perfectly. The staff was welcoming. I highly recommend it.

A pleasant brasserie with a warm welcome and friendly staff. The atmosphere is convivial and you feel right at home. However, I found the portions a bit small for some dishes considering the price. The food was good, but a little more quantity would have been appreciated. I also found the desserts rather expensive compared to those offered in other brasseries. Despite this, the place remains pleasant and worth discovering. With slightly more generous portions or better value for money, the experience would be even better.

A very pleasant welcome. The cod fillet with vegetables was cooked to perfection. The dessert was simple yet perfectly executed. Highly recommended.

19/07/2026: The welcome was a bit cold and some beer prices were excessive (a pint of Vendée IPA at €9.60 is outrageous!).
15/07/2026: Restaurant chosen by Gilou the Menace, advertised as "air-conditioned and super good." Unbearably hot, despite the fans, a tiny bucket of fries, unsalted and without sauce, meant to be shared between three of us (we had to ask for seconds). No hot dishes on the menu (I would have liked something hot, even though the steak tartare wasn't bad). The cook (probably some obscure alchemist from ancient times) attempted an apricot recipe with a satanic mint/lemon/E85 ethanol/asbestos granita which, despite her best efforts, failed to win her over. Pleasant welcome, fairly quick service, reasonable prices, and an easily accessible location, even for the locals.
