La Criée sur Ecully

We came on a Monday for lunch, and the wait staff was overwhelmed, with only two serving the entire restaurant. Despite a significant wait when ordering the all-you-can-eat mussels, the wait staff did their best. The food is good, but nothing special. But considering the price remains attractive, that's hardly surprising.

We had a great time; everything was perfect and delicious. The food arrived in a more than adequate amount of time. It's a shame that some items were missing, but that happens depending on availability. The staff was there for us, and we had a great time. I recommend making a reservation.

I came for lunch... the food was very good, with reasonable but substantial portions. Nothing to complain about. However, the welcome and atmosphere were not up to par. We were greeted by a very kind, pleasant, and warm man, also nothing to complain about. However, a woman serving the dining room to the right of the entrance was rather cold and seemed drunk. The kitchen didn't seem to be helping her (as a few desserts were missing), which was evident in her manner of speaking. Furthermore, the service took a long time even though there weren't necessarily many people there... which was a shame because the experience was somewhat spoiled by the tense atmosphere. However, we appreciate her gesture because she offered us a dessert and three coffees...

Good atmosphere and top-notch, very professional service from Aurelie and her colleagues. I also can't forget the chefs who delighted us. I'll be back!

This place means a lot to me as it is the restaurant where my parents used to take me as a child. Years later, it was a true joy to dine again at this place, this time with my parents and my wife, and to witness that nothing of its original atmosphere had changed. We ordered a variety of sea food dishes (including mussels) which were all remarkably fresh and well cooked (and would said that it is probably the best seafood restaurant I have tried). The quality of the wine was also exceptional as were the desserts. Everything was neat and organised. While there might be a few minor things to improve (forgotten drink, uniforms would be great), the service was professional and dynamic (absolutely no wait, waiters paying close attention, all were very polite), and efforts to improve by younger waiters were clearly conspicuous. Keep it up! It was truly delightful to see a young team reviving the spirit of this restaurant and dedicated to work! We will soon be back to enjoy another meal. Best

Friendly staff, attentive to customer needs.

We appreciate the cuisine, there is nothing to complain about, however, each time the all-you-can-eat mussels are not really all-you-can-eat. At the 3rd portion it's a stop, in fact they don't offer anything... they clear away and they sell us dessert. The service is not fast, the fries were forgotten during the 2nd portion.... In short, personally I have always had my Ecailler platter and it suits me, but when I come with my sons (big eaters) each time they are left wanting more.... Too bad!

Diverse menu. Fresh fish and tasty dishes. Good value for money at lunchtime. Large, bright dining room with a pleasant maritime decor. Good outdoor terrace. Ample parking. It's a shame the service is uneven. It ranges from the super friendly and efficient server on my penultimate visit to another person who still hadn't taken the order after 20 minutes this week and barely moved from the register, letting her colleague do everything. The latter's frustration was evident. Is there a manager?

Beautiful place. The wait to be served was a bit long, perhaps due to a lack of staff? The dish ordered was worth the wait.

A very enjoyable family experience; the mussels were particularly good. Thank you to our responsive server.
