Positive point: The food was good and fresh. Negative point: The wait was far too long—20 minutes before we ordered our drinks, and another 20 minutes before they were served. The wait for the main courses was also very long, which spoiled our enjoyment. The waiter was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Apparently, several staff members were absent that day. We received a gesture of goodwill, but overall, we were disappointed.

We've been several times, almost always served by Samson. Overall, the staff is pleasant, smiling, and professional. Samson is always excellent. The meal is always good and well-presented.

We had a wonderful time at La Criée. A huge thank you to Samson, who was impeccable from start to finish. Very helpful, smiling, attentive, and warm, he truly made our meal even more enjoyable. So this is my third time at this fabulous restaurant. The welcome is impeccable. The gentleman I spoke with is called Sanson; he knows his job, is excellent, incredibly pleasant, and always smiling. It's truly rare to see someone like him. I'll come back specifically for him because I feel so comfortable, and my friends thought it was fantastic. These days, it's rare to find such a pleasant and impeccable welcome.

28/06/2026: We've had lunch at Cœur de la Forêt several times. The setting is pleasant and offers a change of scenery, and the service is adequate, nothing more. But this lunchtime, we were a little disappointed by the portion sizes. The kidneys weren't cooked pink, and the slice of strawberry shortcake was very small. We ordered an aperitif, wine, cheese (all extras), etc. The least they could have done was make the dessert look good. The value for money is really lacking these days, and the welcome was rather informal. It's a shame.
18/06/2026: We had booked for a group of seven, and upon arrival, our beautiful table on the terrace was already waiting for us. As with each of our visits, the welcome was absolutely perfect. On the plate, the cuisine is true to form: fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The owner is a sweetheart, always attentive to ensuring we wanted for nothing. The restaurant Au cœur de la forêt succeeds in offering a refined and charming setting while maintaining a lovely simplicity and very affordable prices. It's a real pleasure to go there; we wholeheartedly recommend it and will return again and again!
