La Croisette - Restaurant du Casino sur Fecamp

A bit pricey for the food offered, and it's a shame there's no meal deal and game ticket included.

We were very well received and the food was excellent.

We stopped at this restaurant while passing through. A wonderful discovery! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cocktails and dishes were excellent. The John Dory fillet was perfect, and the duck skewer was exquisite. The service was also very pleasant.

What I take away from this, once again, is that it's great to have a beautiful establishment, but you have to manage it well! The restaurant is still as slow as ever, but relatively very good, with a smiling and professional waitress. Regarding the snack bar downstairs, which could be full... if the products were of good quality and not just frozen, industrially produced food that they microwave before serving! Yesterday, on their first anniversary weekend, I was happy to have a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. I wanted to buy some, but they were out of sausage and chips...

Welcoming and friendly with tasty food

As usual, a very pleasant time at the Joa restaurant in Fécamp, very good meal, and a great welcome.

We arrived at 12:30 PM and were greeted without a smile. We waited 20 minutes for the wine we ordered as an aperitif, which was served with drops dripping onto the label and the table (unprofessional). We then waited another 30 minutes before our order (three-course menu) was taken. The waitress was very unpleasant when we asked if one person could exchange a course for an extra charge. "No! That's not possible! So? What will you choose?" Furthermore, in the middle of our meal, this same waitress came to clear the placemats where our glasses were resting. She seemed to be in a hurry to clear them, even though we had waited over half an hour to be served! As for the appetizers and main courses, they were perfectly satisfactory. The dessert was also a bit too sweet, the Fécamp-style dessert slightly over-watered with the Bénédictine... In the end, the dining room decor is very pleasant, the food is good, BUT we really didn't appreciate the waitress's extremely unpleasant behavior and felt like we were being rushed out. It's a real shame for a first visit!

Sunday, October 5th, my 3-year-old granddaughter's birthday. A warm welcome in the lounge for aperitifs. Lunch at the high table next to the wine cellar, a cozy atmosphere. The service was top-notch, the dishes excellent. The dessert concocted by the chef for my granddaughter was marvelous. Congratulations to the entire team; we had a wonderful time.

I had a 20€ prime rib, it was more like a 160g steak. I wanted fries and salad, there was a 3€ supplement. I find that expensive. The portion of fries was tiny. Too much light, a shame.
