La Cruche d'Or sur Strasbourg

The room was quite small and lacked any particular charm, with closet doors that only opened partially. Soundproofing was inadequate: on weekends, noise from nightlife could be disruptive (waking up around 5 a.m.). On the plus side, the bedding was very good quality. The lack of a physical reception made the experience feel somewhat cold and impersonal: instructions were sent by email and keys had to be collected at the entrance. However, the central location was a real advantage, allowing quick access to amenities. The price-quality ratio was still acceptable.

A lovely little town hall! The receptionist was incredibly kind, thank you. The hotel is very well located! Everything is within walking distance. Before my stay, I was worried about noise because of the reviews. While it's true we could hear some street noise, it didn't stop us from having a good night's sleep!

Good. Staff were very friendly and patient with my awful French. The room had just one power outlet total, including the bathroom, but a power strip was provided. The aircon fan didn't function, but this wasn't a major problem for this trip. My room was above the cafe and above the alley, but with earplugs, I didn't hear a thing. Bed was perhaps too big for the room, but was comfortable in every sense. Couldn't beat the location, as it's in a great spot.

Excellent location next to the cathedral. However, the rooms are dated and could use a good renovation. The insulation is poor; we were cold. There was no heating in the bathroom. A bit pricey for what it is.

Great hotel, the check-in was excellent and the decor was beautiful. The only problem we encountered was the heat in the room and the impossibility of adjusting the air conditioning. But we still slept well.

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Although the hotel doesn't have a reception desk, the other staff member was extremely helpful and kind and agreed to bring me an iron in the evening.

Hotel is in great location to the city center. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! My only problem that restricted me from giving it a 10/10 was the wifi! It was terrible! To the point where it didn't even work! It only worked for 3 hours and then nothing. Thankfully I was out and about mostly but it would of been nice to be on my phone while doing 🚽
