Delicious pulpo tempura, calamari and fresh local fish. Really tasty desserts. I’d return again!

We were looking forward to coming to eat in this little restaurant, the owner takes note, I notice that Sunday is closed according to the sign on the door…, “don’t worry it will be open at the end of the year…. And we find the door closed the next day… shame

What a great time last night! Go there with your eyes closed! A real delight for the taste buds. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed! The starters (octopus tempura and parsley squid) as well as the main course (beautiful sea bream and baby potatoes) were delicious. The pairings are subtle and tasty. And the service was really very good! So thank you to Kevin in the kitchen, Kevin in the waiter's office (so kind and attentive to the needs of each table) and to the mother who came to greet us too. A cuisine and a family place just the way we like them! We will be back very soon!! A very nice evening

Looking for fusion food in Cassis 🇫🇷, near Marseille❓ A while ago, I visited a small fusion restaurant with a couple of friends. TBH, I wouldn't have chosen this kind of place because I'm not a big fan of fusion cuisine. 🤷 Are you? Call me old school, but when I go to a restaurant, I kind of like to know upfront what type of cuisine I'm gonna eat. Plus, even though I love trying new things, I also like eating things the way they're supposed to be eaten. Pineapple 🍍 on a pizza 🍕: not for me. 🤚 Mango 🥭 in sushi 🍣: not for me. 🤚 Etc. So my friends chose that restaurant called La Défonce. It has a French name, a French look but the dishes are a mix of many types of cuisine. We shared a pork tonkatsu 🐖 then I had a bowl of noodles 🍜 with tuna 🐟 and I also could try the tuna tartare. Everything was very good and the ingredients were obviously very fresh. 👍 Now the quantities of high value ingredients, like tuna in my bowl of noodles, were quite limited for what we paid: more than €30 each for 4 dishes and 1 dessert to share, drinks appart. 🫤 That's the issue in places like Cassis: eating out is very expensive. 😔 The place is small and we enjoyed being able to talk to the staff (nice and efficient) and guests at other tables. We really had a good time. 👍 Quality & taste: 8/10 Quantities: 7/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Originality: 8/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: 8/10 How I felt afterwards: 8/10
