The restaurant at the magnificent medieval Mercure hotel is beautifully decorated and inviting. The dishes are exquisite and imaginative, although the portions are a bit small. The price is somewhat high but appropriate for the location, the service, and the quality of the food. I didn't try the tasting menu, which I'm sure would be more satisfying.

My partner and I went to La Dînée du Viguier for Valentine's Day. We received a very warm welcome, and the set menu was excellent.
We savored every flavor.
The servers were attentive and very friendly.
We had a wonderful evening and thank the chef and his team for the delicious menu.

February 2026: This is my second time dining at this excellent restaurant. A superb evening with my partner for Valentine's Day! The restaurant is superb, from the ambiance to the service and the food. Congratulations to the chef and the pastry chef for these delicious flavors. We will gladly return!!

However, the almost non-existent restaurant scene is expensive compared to a major city.
The hotel restaurant is good, but at 8 pm they turn customers away, claiming to be full, which is inaccurate; there were only about ten covers! Completely unprofessional!
