La Distillerie Cognac sur Cognac

The directions to the restaurant were poor; even when you call, it's not easy to find. The welcome was friendly and very professional, with lots of explanations, perhaps even a bit too much 😉 There was a lot of choice, but some disappointments: some sweet treats were dry or hard, and the burger was like a rock 😑 And some basic items that you could easily find in a small airport hotel. The service was a huge disappointment. We booked for 1:30 pm, but at 2:00 pm we were told they were finished with the meat and egg dishes, and at 2:30 pm they told us they were removing the savory items. Basically, we had to have brunch in 30 minutes... Honestly, it didn't live up to the location and the setting. We expected a much more refined experience considering the price (€55 per person). It was a real letdown 😔

Invited by my daughter to brunch for my birthday, I appreciated the quality of the buffet. It was more of a lunch than a brunch, actually, served at 1 p.m. The staff was attentive, and the price was reasonable.

Excellent address. The restaurant is attached to the hotel but accessible to all. The setting is splendid. The room is a hall renovated in an elegant industrial style. The spaces are comfortable. The service is professional, warm and worthy of the address. The menu offers a series of starters, main courses and desserts. The plates are presented and seasoned with balance. Lots of flavors. The wine list is well stocked. The Pouilly Fumé 2023 is really very good. We had a great evening. Bravo to the whole team. I recommend!

Attracted by the pretty interior photos but excessive value for money. No atmosphere.

Brunch buffet on Sunday is perfect, easily the best we have experienced. Excellent selection of food available , sweet and savoury. The service was very good and the restaurant location is lovely.
