A magnificent establishment where you can enjoy excellent dishes (the ribeye steak is sumptuous!) accompanied by a choice of several options: Puy-en-Velay lentils, dauphinoise potatoes, etc. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and setting. I highly recommend this restaurant for its welcoming atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and its unique dining room. Every time I come to Le Puy-en-Velay, I stop here and I'm never disappointed.
However, remember to book ahead, as such a good restaurant fills up quickly (a victim of its own success).

I would have liked to give it 3.5 stars, but half-stars aren't an option. The dining room was noisy and the service disorganized; the wait was quite long.
As for the food, it was good and plentiful, but I ordered medium-rare, which arrived well-done, and my partner ordered rare, which arrived very rare. Knowing how to cook meat properly is truly fundamental to the restaurant business. It's a shame. The side dishes, however, were very good (gratin and ratatouille).

Passing through Le Puy and in a hurry, I ordered the TGV menu, which was delicious and unbeatable value for money. The service was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Our go-to little spot in Le Puy on almost every visit. The food remains simple, tasty, and generous. The servers are always attentive. In short, once again, not disappointed.

A wonderful discovery for a family meal.
The food is delicious, the aperitif excellent, and the dessert a delightful surprise. The decor is truly worth seeing... I highly recommend it.

A pleasant surprise and a great place to eat in Le Puy, where you can eat well and at affordable prices. The duck and beef are both good and tender, the vegetables are flavorful, the cuisine is well-prepared, as are the desserts. The wooden decor and the intimate lighting create an excellent atmosphere, inside the spacious dining rooms. The service is conscientious and motivated, and they are very friendly.
Of course, it's not the Tour d'Argent, but based on the quality/price criteria, this is a place I'll definitely revisit.
