Very friendly staff and good food. We had a seafood platter (the prawns were delicious) and the ribeye steak was very tender. Your wood-fired convection oven is magnificent ;) Thank you!

A truly delightful family-run establishment! Located on the square, opposite the cathedral, it boasts a superb terrace and an elegant dining room! On a cool summer evening, enjoying the fresh air was a pure joy! The service is warm and the menu is extensive! The team provides top-notch service, and the owners' kindness only adds to the experience! A pleasure!

A fantastic place in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières! Excellent welcome, friendly staff, and truly top-notch service. I especially enjoyed the braised ham, a favorite of my friend. It was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. A truly memorable experience. Generous cuisine with good portions and quality ingredients. I highly recommend this place. ❤️

Had a great meal, excellent and friendly service, and a nice price, and the fries were delicious and unique, so I don't understand Scheurwater! I've been here for 2 weeks, so I will definitely come here more often!

06/09/2026: Incredible value considering the quality of the food (see my photos). I visited for a lunch in August '26 and enjoyed the 3 course lunch menu (€14!!!). Honestly, one of the best value restaurants I have visited in all of France. I look forward to returning. 🥰

24/08/2026: A true institution in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières! I wholeheartedly recommend the Le Somail bar-hotel-restaurant. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic home cooking: dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients, flavorful and generous portions. A real gem, especially during the Chestnut Festival in October, a convivial event not to be missed. I also stayed several nights at the hotel: impeccable and very clean rooms, all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. As for the bar, the atmosphere is excellent, warm, and friendly—a real pleasure every time I visit. A big thank you to Anto, the owner, and his entire team, always smiling and welcoming: Coco, Laurent, Cédric, Cetine, and Anto's mother. A special mention also goes to our friend Robert, aka (Bimbo). Le Somail is much more than just a place; it's a local institution. I highly recommend it without hesitation!
