La Ferme des Mielles sur Portbail

A must-try in the area. We were greeted by a charming person who was humming along to the background music. The menu, written on a chalkboard, offers something for everyone. For my starter, I chose the clams served with a delicious sauce, and for my main course, the pie—a true delight for the taste buds, very generously filled—and for dessert, the succulent and enormous tarte tatin with a luscious cream. For those who love real, homemade food, this is the perfect place. Our dog, Vaya, was welcome and had her own bowl of water. The Northerners thank you for this excellent meal.

Delicious dinner at La Ferme des Mielles: we thoroughly enjoyed it, the portions were generous and the food was delicious. Warm atmosphere, very friendly service, and good music – everyone was humming along to U2, Dire Straits...

A wonderful experience, excellent food combined with huge portions (very generous), friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. All this for a reasonable price. Don't hesitate, try it; you won't be disappointed.

The menu looked enticing, and the price reflects the expected quality of the food. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The setting is very warm and inviting, but the cuisine is underdeveloped, lacking subtlety and balance. A note on the two dishes we chose: the pie and the scallops. They were served very (too) quickly. We hadn't even finished our aperitifs before the starters arrived. And there was nothing to accompany the aperitifs. We won't be going back!
