Saint-Salvadour, at the foot of the Monedières, is worth the detour for the Paucard museum and the Leondou farm. Discreet place, like the owner but which reserves nice surprises, with Correzian specialties.

Authentic restaurant in an old renovated farm, I've known it for 50 years and the food is still just as good.
The dishes are plentiful and I can guarantee that when you come out you will no longer be hungry...
Not to be missed if you go to
Saint Salvadour.

A small traditional restaurant. Very good cuisine, plenty of choice and meats perfectly cooked in the fireplace! If you pass by don't hesitate to come and eat there to taste the specialties of Corrèze

Very nice place located in an old barn. In summer, it's pleasant to be in the cool of the restaurant's large room. The old cow feeder headboards contribute to the rustic and country decoration.
We took four menus at €35. Starter, main course, salad, cheese and dessert.
Aperitifs are served with very tasty sweets.
The starters were terrines with two fish (perch and salmon) and chanterelles. The dishes were leg of lamb and sirloins with wine merchant sauce (the latter was cooked on the grill over the wood fire of the large fireplace, both were served with a hot vegetable terrine and Sarladaise potatoes. This was followed by a well-seasoned green salad and a plate of cheeses (brie and tomme grise).
For dessert, we tried Vacherin, crème brûlée and sorbets. Everything was wonderfully good. A special mention for the Vacherin which was delicious and unexpected: it is a dessert which was very fashionable a few decades ago and which is almost no longer served in restaurants. It's a shame because it's delicious, especially in summer. Thank you to the restaurant for offering this good dessert reminiscent of childhood, for those who have experienced...
I recommend this restaurant where the value for money and the good welcome are there.

In a rustic and calm setting, La Ferme du Léondou offers a beautiful menu with reasonable prices but above all delicious dishes!
We had veal head, scallop casserole, grilled steaks and Léondou ice cream, with the discovery of Corrèze specialties: pous and tourtous.
Everything was delicious!

Nice little inn, rustic charm. The cuisine is good, local and plentiful. The entrecôte Alain cooked perfectly, was superb. And all with friendly and smiling service. We discovered beautiful traditions and a great place to enjoy them. La Ferme du Leondou is worth the detour.
