Very modest restaurant at first glance but what a treat when you taste the slightly grilled sea bass with the vegetables cooked to perfection, the hot and cold for dessert. Quality products, delicately cooked…. We regularly go there with pleasure with our children when they come to Les Vans.

Un restaurant typique ardéchois avec une vraie cuisine de terroir, raffinée, fidèle aux plats de bistrot. J'ai mangé une saucisse de montagne accompagnée de légumes de saison. L'ensemble était sans fioritures, mais c'était délicieux, dans un cadre authentique et pour un tarif vraiment honnête. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la cuisine ouverte et la dimension humaine de ce restaurant qui est dans son jus. Nous y retournerons !

06/11/2024: Dinner with friends, everything was perfect, the homemade foie gras I recommend😋 for gratins, there is something for everyone. We stuck with a local dessert, with the Ardechoise cut flawless after the lamb shank. I will return to the Don Camillo on my next visit to the Vans. Small restaurant that takes the trouble to be known and good value for money. With very good wine advice. I will come back to my next visit to Les Vans. 🙏🏻

23/10/2024: A truly exceptional restaurant! The ratings are more than justified: this welcoming and warm little restaurant delivers absolutely incredible cuisine. All the dishes are made with fresh, local products and extremely well crafted, we had a great time. We were a little afraid of the proportions and the price since we pay for several dishes which are to be shared but in fact, a very nice surprise, the dishes are copious (we took 5 dishes for 2 and the dessert and we were well prepared for a very fair price)! I would like to thank and congratulate the team for the quality of their cuisine and in particular the young man who serves in the dining room, very professional and very good advice for drinks/wines (I drank a glass of red wine from the region which went perfectly with the selected dishes). Special mention also for dessert with a hazelnut crumble to die for! So go there with your eyes closed, we can’t wait to go back (menu that changes every week).
