A wonderful experience at La Figuiere restaurant! The welcome was very warm. The dishes were delicious from start to finish. I highly recommend it!

A delightful surprise in this very touristy area. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The tripe and trotters on the daily special were excellent. A very warm welcome in a lovely setting, slightly removed from the crowds (the spacious outdoor terrace must be lovely on sunny days).

Whether it's the restaurant—the best in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse—or the hotel, everything is perfect. A little removed from the hustle and bustle but very close to the Sorgue River, in a cozy atmosphere, almost like being at a friend's house, the food is wonderful (with a special mention for the divine Portuguese dishes). The summer atmosphere is incredible. If you only visit Fontainebleau-de-Vaucluse once, eat here!

Furthermore, the menu price was very reasonable for the quality offered. The service was great; Sarah was friendly and gave us excellent recommendations. A romantic weekend getaway, including an overnight stay and lunch at the restaurant, where we had a lovely time amidst this magnificent setting. The host is kind and welcoming to her guests; it was a wonderful encounter and a great time shared with excellent cuisine worthy of the owners. Let's start with the positives, since the intention is there. The children's menu is decent for the price, not amazing, but standard. The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) at around €40 is a formula many will want to try in Provence, especially if they want to avoid the tourist traps in the village center. The menu, in keeping with the Provençal spirit, offers dishes that, on paper, make you want to travel (cod, beef cheek, lavender crème brûlée, etc.). And then there are the thoughtful touches: a complimentary toast to start the culinary journey—a nice touch—even if, admittedly, the quantity is modest (it's more of an amuse-bouche). (Honestly: too little toast to truly deliver on the promise of an aperitif.) What's a bit lacking? • The portions: they seem rather small. • The service: sometimes a bit disorganized, as if the team were still working out their own script. • The menu: attractive but unclear, sometimes giving the impression of flipping through a menu without a clear direction. The outdoor terrace—promising a sunny lunch under the trees—is undoubtedly one of the place's strong points. It's a shame the weather didn't cooperate during our visit. In the future, it's best to plan ahead and make a reservation if you want to guarantee a table outside, as word-of-mouth continues to spread in the village. In summary: 👉 A charming spot, worth a visit for its setting and Provençal ambiance. 👉 Good culinary intentions, but sometimes hesitant service and portions that leave you wanting more. 👉 Areas for improvement: a clearer menu and more generous portions. In short, we're eager for more... but we're still hesitating a bit before embarking on a second act.

My wife and I just had lunch there this Sunday, and we really enjoyed the welcome (very friendly and pleasant), our meal which was delicious, but especially the thoughtful touches they gave our dog (water bowl, treats, and a mat). We highly recommend it.
