I had no luck with the mussels marinière! They were way overcooked; there wasn't much left in the shells... The oysters were good, and my wife was happy with her meal.

We arrived as a group (booked 4 days in advance) of 22 people for a weekend gathering. The welcome was fantastic, the staff very pleasant. The upstairs room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The meal was superb, the skate wing was excellent!! I highly recommend the Fleur de Sel restaurant in Port-en-Bessin.

Avoid this place at all costs; the food is truly awful. Cooking mussels isn't exactly rocket science, but apparently it is. The quality of the mussels was already questionable, and the parsley was canned—in short, disgusting.

It was incredibly busy. The food was good. It's just a shame that if you order a cappuccino, you get a very small cup of coffee with whipped cream🫣. The coffee was so strong, it wasn't pleasant, too bitter. The waitress really had to work hard.

A truly exceptional sense of service and hospitality; we had a wonderful evening, and despite lingering a bit at the table until quite late, the staff displayed a level of politeness and kindness rarely encountered. Thank you.

Does accept British cards. Nice food, wonderfully friendly waitress who encouraged our sons to speak french. Highly recommend

A warm welcome and excellent service, Food was a excellent and arrived quickly. Cafe was full with some tables reserved but extra space upstairs. Highly recommended

14/04/2026: I ate among the locals. The mussels were tasty, but the local specialty, andoilette, was not to my taste. Especially not when I tasted the texture in my mouth and eventually realized it was made from pig offal. I wanted to try it... The service was friendly!
18/03/2026: A bar and restaurant well worth a visit. Warm, friendly, local, delicious food. Everything we love!

06/04/2026: Excellent hotel, the evening staff are welcoming and very helpful. The linguine with scallops was very good. I recommend it.
