Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly. The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Very small but wonderful restaurant. The escargot was fantastic as was the duck and chocolate fondant. Parking is a little sparse but other than that it serves as a perfect dinner spot.

It's hard to talk about atmosphere in a small town like Port-en-Bessin, deserted in the middle of January! There were only four of us at the restaurant, yet the welcome was warm and the food fantastic! Even if the decor is a bit kitschy, the portions are beautiful and generous! Thank you so much!

Passing through this Monday... a great little restaurant, the only one open on Mondays in Port-en-Bessin serving scallops. The owner is very friendly, I highly recommend it.

Even though you can find excellent food everywhere in this small town, this particular restaurant stands out. The dishes are fresh and deliciously prepared. You can flexibly customize the menus to suit everyone. The owner is very friendly and attentive to each guest. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food, finally fresh fish. One star down, small portions, high prices. Otherwise, excellent service, very nice lady.

09/08/2026: The food was certainly okay, but not top-notch. But definitely sufficient for a campsite restaurant. The service was super friendly and they worked very hard. Big thumbs up to the staff 🫶🏻🫶🏻

07/10/2026: Today's visit... what can I say... we were a little disappointed with the quality of the food :( The service was practically nonexistent... a waitress who was there but not really there... it was our second visit to this restaurant and we won't be repeating the experience.
05/10/2026: Excellent food, very friendly restaurant and staff with big smiles
