La Fleur d'Or sur Niederschaeffolsheim

We were there in December after a quick visit to the Haguenau Christmas market. The welcome was cold, with little empathy towards potential new customers… a shame, because the tarte flambée is really good, the main course my husband had was very good, and the desserts were too. It doesn't make you want to come back. As a customer, I believe that a warm welcome and good service are paramount (as is the quality of the food), legally speaking.

I invited a friend to try this restaurant. We were very happy and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

We went with some Alsatian friends who knew this establishment well. We honestly really enjoyed the tartes flambées. A lovely place to spend a pleasant time while enjoying a delicious meal. We recommend it, and the prices aren't at all exaggerated... especially since the service is friendly and the owner is very kind. Congratulations to both of you. We'll be back.
