Simple, quick, efficient, the staff is very pleasant, and the meal was top-notch 👌🏻. The tuna tartare and the Norman apple tart were excellent.

Good meal in Etretat, decent food and service. However, the inability to make reservations meant having to queue to eat, and if you need to use the only restroom, you'll have to queue again. Otherwise, a good meal, but a very limited meat menu. The wood-fired oven seems to be out of order, probably for a long time, as the menus are printed accordingly.

A restaurant worth the detour in Étretat! We followed the recommendations in the reviews and arrived 20 minutes before opening for lunch (they don't take reservations). We got a table on the small terrace and the waiter was very helpful. We ordered the mussels with Camembert: excellent! And the sweet cider, which we loved! It might be easier to get a table for a small group (2-4 people). If you're a larger group, arrive well before opening time!

A nice restaurant that doesn't take reservations. You have to arrive well in advance to be sure of getting a table. After about an hour, they start filling up the tables that become available. Highly recommended! The Café Gourmand is perfect for dessert!

Don't be put off by the wait outside; the service is quick and the servers are attentive. Highly rated restaurants in Étretat are rare. This one was very good, the prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the food was of good quality. As is typical, the drinks and desserts are a bit pricey. Enjoy your meal.

This is probably the most famous restaurant in this area. There’s always a long queue outside, from half hour before they open, hungry people start queuing to secure a table. I’m dining by myself so I only ordered a main dish, mussles normande. The mussles are very small but the portion is big, which took me ages to finish the whole pot and both my fingers and tongue are so tired 😂 the creamy source is so tasty because they fried celery and onion in cream, the flavour is indulging and perfect with the baguette ( the mussles come with a supplement and I chose veggies instead of fries because I think the source would be too much with the fries and bread can actually balance the seasoning) Because mussles itself carries the salt from the ocean, in the end it’s way too salty and I need to eat a lot of bread and drink a lot of water. I don’t want to waste food but the whole pot is too much and too salty for one person. It tastes good at first but then it’s just too salty and too heavy. I saw the old menu on googlemap the price increased a lot these years, but I’d rather they reduce the portion and keep the same price. To avoid wasting and we can also try more dishes or deserts. The service is friendly and efficient.

The food is definitely worth the short wait in line. The mussels and beef tataki were excellent, the cider bowls were interesting, everything was very hearty and delicious ❤️

A quality restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. The savory crepes are superb, as are the mussels marinière with white wine! I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommended, and exceptional value for money. Whatever mussels you order, they're amazing, whether au gratin or not. Excellent wine, and the option to order by the glass, half a bottle, half a liter, or a full bottle is a smart move, as is the cider. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular. When you're in the area, go there, even if there's a line; it's worth it, I assure you.
