La Flotille sur Etretat

A super popular seafood restaurant. Reservations are not accepted. We visited in mid-May, and there was already a line at the door at 6:35 PM. When we entered promptly at 6:45 PM, there were still seats available, but it was completely full by about 6:55 PM. The food was delicious, and the ordering and serving were very fast. The baguette was average. The mussels in the mussel hot pot were too small, making it less satisfying. The fries were good. The fried calamari rings were good. A great restaurant that can quickly fill you up without being too expensive.

Nice little terrace. Pleasant welcome and service. Excellent mussels. I recommend this restaurant.

Quick service in a lovely setting. We were lucky; the restaurant wasn't crowded at lunchtime, so we didn't have to queue. The crêpe was generous, the mussels were a good portion, and the children's menu was also good. Good value for money.

Local produce, wood-fired cooking, and delicious meals, plus a great sharing platter. The servers are very friendly and attentive, and the wood fire creates a warm atmosphere.

Based on the excellent reviews, La Flotille was the only option for us. Since the sun unexpectedly shone for a long time, we left the campsite too late, and of course, it was already full. But they said it would be different in 30 minutes, and it was. We took a quick stroll through the town, waited outside, and were inside within minutes. It was packed, but still had a great atmosphere right from the start. And then the young staff arrived, all of whom were simply fantastic – friendly, competent, and incredibly nice. Great! The food is amazing. We shared the Terrine de Maison, then one of us had Pavé de Boeuf with salad, and I had the Andouillette with fries for the first time, finishing with the cheese. The portions are generous, and everything is cooked to perfection. A nice anecdote: the grill master – we were sitting right at his counter – asked me if I knew what I had ordered with the Andouillette. I said that I knew what it was, but I had never had it before, so I had ordered it. He simply gave it a thumbs up and gave it his all – I can highly recommend them and will definitely continue to use them in the future. The bar has been set high. Top recommendation, thanks to the whole great team!

Among the best places to eat in Étretat, I can only confirm and recommend this restaurant 👌. But it's worth the effort; you'll have to brave the queue (no reservations), an unmistakable sign of their success 🤷‍♂️. The quality of the ingredients on the sharing platter will immediately set the tone 😋... The two pieces of red meat, grilled to perfection over a wood fire right before your eyes by "Toto," left us speechless with their incredible quality 😲....don't hesitate to explore the rest of the menu for yourself 😁

While visiting Étretat, we enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate there for every meal! The terrace is lovely, the manager is welcoming and attentive, and the food is delicious. An excellent place that I highly recommend.

A wonderful, friendly experience with a fantastic team of servers. We ate very well, the food was generous and high quality (the Norman galette was excellent, the fish of the day was equally good, and the vegetarian option was also very good). We also thoroughly enjoyed the desserts! We waited a little while at the entrance, but the service was very quick.

Fantastic experience at this restaurant. The welcome was truly warm, the whole team is lovely and immediately puts you at ease. The service is top-notch, in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. And above all, the dishes were excellent, delicious, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend it, and I'll gladly return! Dogs are welcome, which is a real bonus!
