Passing through Cherbourg for the day, this brasserie caught our eye. And we were completely won over: a warm welcome, refined cuisine at a very reasonable price. A very successful choice.

A very good experience. A place we'll definitely keep in mind when we return to the area. Unbeatable value for money: €52 for two hearty meals, one enormous gourmet coffee (shared between two), one beer, one sparkling water, and two other coffees. You can hardly find places like this anymore.

The first time I went to the Fontaine, freshly very good brasserie, the dishes are of very good quality and very generous, I enjoyed myself, I was just bothered by an Asian hornet but it was not their fault, I recommend the Brasserie La Fontaine if you want to enjoy good meals and which remain very affordable financially

Traditional French brasserie. Wide selection of hearty, homemade dishes. More than generous desserts. Very reasonable prices. Excellent value for money! We recommend it!!! Special mentions for the homemade fig tart and the floating island. Delicious!

Hearty cuisine served quickly by very pleasant and kind people. Just a tiny downside for the small vegetables on the side which were overcooked but otherwise nothing to complain about: very good value for money. My son was delighted with his gigantic profiteroles!! 😂. Thanks to the owner who was very kind and welcoming.
