An unusual and friendly place with a relaxed atmosphere. The burgers and galettes are excellent and generous portions; we love to eat there when we're in Villefranche, and we're never disappointed.

Authentic atmosphere. We had two savory and two sweet crepes, with cider to go with them. Delicious! They let us bring our bulldog in. Excellent value for money.

What a great find! We stopped in Villefranche by chance and, feeling a bit peckish, decided to stop at this restaurant. We had a wonderful meal; the galettes and crêpes are absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Don't hesitate to stop by! 👌🏼👍🏻

The galettes were excellent, each one better than the last of the three we tried. The hamburger was a very complete meal, but perhaps the meat and the bun were a little dry. We ate at one of the tables near the entrance, under a roof, because the inside was full, although they offered to let us wait 15 minutes before coming in: we weren't cold at all.

After several visits to the beautiful village of Villefranche-de-Conflent, we've remained loyal to this little restaurant, "La Forge d'Auguste." The couple who run it are friendly. Homemade crepes and hamburgers are served with fresh, seasonal ingredients, with fast service and affordable prices. A visit to the restrooms is a must, with its medieval staircase.
