The pastries are expensive but good. The tradition is good. However, I regret the change of ownership which changed all the sellers/vendors, the difference in atmosphere is felt but not in a good way... Also certain pastries, which were only found at La Fougasse (former owner), have disappeared to be replaced by more classic ones with a higher price.

More expensive since the takeover of the bakery at the start of 2024 and less quantity. The size of chocolatines and croissants, for example, tends to vary each week. Overall, lower quality than before.

I went here on a Sunday as an english speaker, trying to use some french. The lady at the register was so kind, sweet, and understanding. She gladly gave me suggestions for some wonderfully delicious pastries, my first real jambon beurre, and a wonderful mini-cup of espresso. Will try to come here again :)

10/12/2025: A generous Christmas meal for €15.00: a warm, southwestern-style salad with a light and warm vinaigrette; a very tender turkey medallion with baked potatoes; and a delicious Yule log. Highly recommended, very friendly, and the chef's cuisine is excellent. See some of the dishes.
24/11/2025: The price is very reasonable, the dorms are clean, and there's access to a kitchen and common areas. If you're a woman, you can sleep in a women-only dorm. The setting is pleasant, and it's about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The managers were friendly, and I had a great stay 😊
