Fantastic restaurant! Warm welcome, lovely waitresses always smiling. The quality of the food is remarkable, with a large part of the menu made in-house. That's so rare these days, kudos to the whole team!

We were a group of eight. We ate on three separate nights each night great food, warm hospitality at a perfectly acceptable price. Would highly recommend.

After having trouble finding a restaurant available in Bayeux without a reservation, the restaurant "La Fringale" welcomed us with a smile, excellent service, and excellent dishes! We'll be back with pleasure 😊

Overall, a pleasant experience. However, the service left something to be desired (cutlery not set, no sauce offered, sometimes unfriendly...). It's a shame, the food was good.

15/02/2026: We came for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful evening. A big thank you to Max and Lucas for their warm welcome and professionalism. The atmosphere was perfect and the meal absolutely delicious. An experience well worth the price. We will gladly return!
07/02/2026: We chose the €39 set menu and were disappointed. The starter was decent, but the main course (ribeye steak) was very average and the meat didn't taste good. The desserts were frozen and rather bland.

22/02/2026: We visited this café/bistro twice in quick succession. On our first visit (just the two of us with our dog), everything was truly excellent: very friendly service, delicious food, and a hot chocolate that we particularly remember fondly. On our second visit, this time with three of us and our dog, we were again seated at the same very small table, despite the extra person. In our opinion, this didn't do justice to the limited space and comfort, and it unnecessarily restricted our visit. Unfortunately, the quality this time didn't live up to our first visit either. The hot chocolate tasted noticeably different, and the food was mediocre at best. My son and I ordered the same dish (a kind of burger), which was also served incorrectly: I received both bottom patties, and my son received both top patties. As a result, the flavors were, of course, inconsistent. We found this very disappointing, as our first impression was entirely positive. We hope it was an isolated incident, because this café has a lot of potential.
16/02/2026: While passing through Bayeux, we stopped twice for breakfast. Very good, with a very warm welcome and quick service.
