Overall, a pleasant experience. However, the service left something to be desired (cutlery not set, no sauce offered, sometimes unfriendly...).
It's a shame, the food was good.

Lovely, atmospheric restaurant! The eight of us had a delicious meal. It was packed. The service was also very friendly!

We came and the whole town was packed. This was the only place we could find seating, literally. They were so, so busy. The food was good enough, but portions were on the smaller side. The staff was great, despite being so busy. They deserve top marks.

While the dining room was pleasant with its antique decor, we were not impressed with the service: the aperitif (kir) and the drinks with the meal (beer, wine, water) were brought out all at once. We declined the beer, wanting it chilled later with our main course. When we pointed this out, we were told that it was "difficult to recruit and that these waitresses arrived on time, which was already a plus!"
We were not informed about the side dishes that would accompany our meats.
We also found the dishes expensive.
As a result, we did not order dessert.

We walked in not expecting much, but we were blown away by the service and the atmosphere. Everyone was so nice, we got seated in a nice spot and after we ordered, the food was there very quickly. I got fish and chips, they could've used some lemon but were overall very delicious. The toilets are sparkly which is a fun experience and a nice touch to the overall decoration. I would definitely come here again, very nice place! Would recommend 😌

We ate at this restaurant on Thursday, July 31st.
And we were welcomed warmly, with a smile 😃.
And the decor is amazing.
But above all, the food is so delicious. We had a warm goat cheese salad for my wife, fish and chips for our daughter, and Normandy mussels for me; all of them were excellent.
Honestly, this is a place not to be missed in Bayeux.
