Great food great service great wine. We had fish and chips as well as a steak. The 2 waiters were great they were fast and precise.

My salad was quite salty and I didn't like the raclette cheese on the toast. Wine and beer were good. Service was just o.k. Fish and chips were quite good.

Although booked half an hour earlier by our receptionist, everything was arranged for our seven-person group when we got there. We spent a great evening due to the fresh and flavourful dinner and friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. We were lucky to get a table inside as the place was full and there were people waiting outside to book a table for the very same night!

14/09/2025: Very well received, the boss was pleasant, generous and delicious dishes. We will keep them as a souvenir.
22/08/2025: We called in for snacks before boarding our train. We felt like an inconvenience because we did not have cash and wished to use card. We spent 12 euros so not a complete fee wasting transaction

Le Fournil de St Loup

15/08/2026: I don't know the shop in Bayeux, but I discovered their stall at the Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue market. The person running the stall is very friendly. There's a chance to try several products: organic flour, local ingredients used to make the products (milk from Saint-Lô, cream from Isigny). The flan is excellent, as are the breads. Every Saturday I try to discover a new product. See you soon! I recommend it. Thank you very much for reading and responding to my comment. Very disappointed by your savory pastries, both the fish and chicken ones. The dough wasn't risen and was undercooked, sticking to the aluminum mold. They're still €5.95 each! I don't recommend them.
12/06/2026: I know your bread from the market in Courseulles-sur-Mer! So good! Excellent! I regularly get a perfectly baked "tordu" loaf! It makes even toast jealous! Thank you to the baker for this little crunchy delight.
