The fish terrine starter is truly minimalist. The crispy pork and the burgers are delicious. The server is friendly and fast. A little more generous plates wouldn't be amiss. Average experience.

A very beautiful place on the charming rue du Vaugueux in Caen. Qualified service, here we will offer you to taste the wines before ordering them, a huge plus. The Folle et Douce white wine is no longer on sale, a shame, sometimes we come here just to taste it. Possibility of sitting inside, nicely decorated, or on the terrace. Very refined dishes and new tastes are there to meet you. Very good desserts. The map changes all the time, interesting to follow. Keep it up!

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at Atelier 21, we were very well received and the staff were helpful and accommodating (we were on the terrace where it was a little cold and they arranged a table for us at the interior while they were complete). The meal was very good, from starter to dessert. I tried their vegetarian menu which was prepared with good flavors and very spicy which is far from always being the case. Bravo to the chef for these efforts!

Ce restaurant, idéalement placé au cœur d'un Vaugueux flambant neuf, propose une cuisine traditionnelle française principalement orientée autour de la viande, des burgers et des moules (en saison). Nous nous y sommes rendus avec des amis en soirée, l'accueil est très chaleureux et le service correct. Concernant les plats, j'ai opté pour un mix grill pour une personne qui est très généreux (brochette de poulet, de boeuf, saucisse et côte d'agneau) toutefois j'ai demandé une viande bien cuite et je me suis retrouvé avec de la viande saignante... Pour ce qui est du dessert, j'ai opté pour une dame blanche qui était tout à fait correcte pour le prix. J'ai payé 41 euros pour un mix grill, des frites, un dessert et une boisson, un prix dans la moyenne des autres restaurants de la même catégorie. En résumé, un bon restaurant au cœur du Vaugueux qui propose des plats variés, toutefois le service seulement correct et le non respect des consignes de cuisson me conduit à cette note.

Really nice, friendly people running a traditional Normandy restaurant with great food and drinks. We visited in June. I had the Camembert rosti, followed by the special which was la perilludda, a fantastic mixed fish platter in sauce with mashed potato. There was king prawns, white fish, salmon, sea bass and scallops. It was a huge portion as well. My wife had the Filet de boeuf which was also excellent and my mother in law had the Prawn teriyaki pasta, which again was excellent and a massive portion! We finished up with traditional pommes and brioche pudding with both cream and ice cream that was just magnifique! And of course complementary Calvados with our coffee. Really loved this place. Treat yourself! Go here hungry!
