I've been coming to this chip shop since I was little. I live in the Paris region now, but I come back regularly when I'm up north. It's always a pleasure to find this friendly atmosphere, enjoy a good fries, and see the whole team. We come with family and friends, always with the same enjoyment. The dishes are simple, tasty, and very reasonably priced. I 100% recommend it to anyone passing through Bray-Dunes.

Aside from the fact that they don't accept reservations...so you have to be there by noon at the latest to get a table!! We ordered a starter and a main course...but the waiter didn't write down the starter...so no starter!! A vague excuse, but they just brought us our mussels anyway, and at the till, no gesture of goodwill or apology whatsoever!!! Appalling customer service!! Avoid at all costs!!

As a long-time customer, we arrived at 11:45 am on Wednesday, April 7th, and a rather unfriendly blonde woman asked us for a table. She said there was no space available. I then asked her how long it would take, and she replied, "I don't know, the service had barely started." Either she hadn't gotten out of bed yet, or she simply didn't like the look of us. A very bad experience indeed! Not like usual.

13/05/2026: The team is fantastic (owner and waitresses) and the food is superb, no complaints about the quality, the dishes are incredibly delicious and excellent (20/20)! However, the pop music playing on repeat is pure torture for a metalhead's ears. I'll definitely be back for the taste, the service, and the excellent food, but I'll be wearing headphones!
10/05/2026: As for the food, the pasta carbonara was a generous portion and quite good (I don't eat it often). The salad lacked dressing and the bread wasn't toasted enough, in my opinion. The decor is dated; the toilet seat, faucet, and door handle are loose. It's not the most well-maintained, but it's still clean. The waiters/waitresses and the owner are very friendly and professional. Overall, the value for money isn't really there.
