La Gaite-Nallino sur Nice

3 of us ate on Saturday 16.03. The dishes eaten: octopus Niçoise style correct, duck breast good but accompanied by a potato without consistency, Niçoise stew with gnocchi good but a little too salty for my taste. The problem came from the "homemade" profiteroles shared by my two companions. The latter, although not difficult, found the cabbages too soft with an unpleasant aftertaste and gave up eating them. The reaction of the young waitress, quite aggressive and denying any problem, was unworthy of a restaurant worthy of the name (the dessert or uneaten dish is replaced with another or the customer is not charged for it. The management should ensure to remind its staff of the respect owed to customers.

I loved the welcome, the meal, the service.... everything is perfect! The room is large and therefore very noisy, which is the only downside. Thank you 👌

Always excellent food in this family restaurant where I have been taking all my friends from the four corners of France (and others) for years. Always a success. Friendly and professional staff. It's a shame that it's not open one evening but I understand because midday is so intense that you need to rest to be at your best again the next day! THANKS...

La Gaité Nallino is a traditional Nissard restaurant, offering excellent regional dishes – officially labeled Nissard cuisine. It's definitely worth the walk up the hill. You can walk through the beautiful Cimiez district to the restaurant.

Excellent restaurant familial Niçois. Si vous voulez retrouver le goût des traditions et la vraie cuisine de chez nous comme la faisait la grand-mère, allez y ! Mais pas trop car ça nous est réservé ! Un des rares restaurants sur Cimiez qui allie la tradition de l'excellence Nissarte !

J'ai déjeuné dans ce restaurant où l'accueil malgré l'affluence a été extrêmement sympathique. Les plats d'une qualité irréprochable et d'un prix très attractif. Je recommande vivement.
