La Gargouille isn't just a restaurant; it's an essential destination for lovers of fine cuisine. The food: The menus are exceptionally refined, with a focus on flavors and textures worthy of the finest restaurants. Each dish is a visual and gustatory discovery. The wine cellar: As a connoisseur of good wines, I was blown away by the selection. The wine and champagne list is simply outstanding, offering perfect pairings to enhance the meal. The ambiance: The atmosphere is warm and refined, true to the establishment's reputation. If you're looking for excellence in Beauvais, look no further. A huge congratulations to the entire team for this timeless experience. I highly recommend it!

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day menu last night. The welcome was charming, the setting pleasant enough, but nothing more. The ambitious and expensive two-starter, two-course menu was unfortunately very disappointing. Everything fell flat: poached scallops were tasteless, the foie gras was mushy, the turbot was overcooked, and the veal was beautiful but served with a dry and bland side dish (no truffle to be found). The main course, a lackluster Neufchâtel cheese with rose, and an overly sweet dessert did nothing to improve the experience. A major disappointment. A Michelin star is nowhere near its potential, even if the wine list prices might lead you to believe it's already there.
