Seasonal restaurant. Outdoors, below the Canal du Midi. Decent food, but nothing special. Fish cooked to an average standard. Prices are on the high end for this type of restaurant.

Fantastic place! We've been several times, both for lunch and dinner, and have always been satisfied. The food is excellent, the waitresses are perfect, and the atmosphere is great. We highly recommend this place. We never get tired of it. The best outdoor café.

Great place to stop for a meal, very good service, food and price. We stopped by boat and had to put up pegs, but it was worth it, I recommend it 100%.

We went to La Gambille for dinner yesterday and were unfortunately disappointed. The food was good, as usual, but the service that evening was not. The appetizers were served with considerable delays. Furthermore, one dish never arrived, and we only learned that another was no longer available after the other main courses had already been served. We would like to emphasize that our waiter was not at fault. He was friendly, attentive, and very helpful all evening. On a positive note, the owner took our complaint seriously, corrected the bill, and offered to cover some of our drinks as an apology. That was a fair gesture. We hope this was just a one-off, as we really like the restaurant and its beautiful location on the Canal du Midi.

We had a wonderful evening with friends enjoying tapas. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The servers were great, and the cocktails were too 😜
