28/08/2026: Fantastic food, great location, and lovely, genuine people. We ate there twice during our holiday and were thrilled. There's also plenty on offer for children (painting, seesaw, boules, etc.).

08/05/2026: A very pleasant one-night stay in this beautiful guesthouse; the room and common areas are tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast, with a special mention for the homemade brioches. A very friendly and warm welcome.

21/12/2025: During my stay in December for a short Christmas weekend, I stumbled upon this place and was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the host's friendliness, and the decor of the house. The internet worked very well, the heating was perfect, the breakfast was excellent, and there's street parking nearby.

26/04/2026: Arrived this Sunday, April 26th, at 4:40 PM. Friendly welcome. Upon checking into the room, there was a musty smell. Very hot. I turned on the air conditioning, nothing. Just hot air. I complained to reception, and the response was: "It's only hot, the air conditioning is broken! But it will be cooler tomorrow." Really? But the credit card terminal is working fine. I filled the bathtub to cool off. After 10 minutes, half the water was gone. The plug is completely worn out. The credit card terminal is still working. Three stars? Probably just for show. Once bitten, twice shy. Goodbye Campanile. A review is coming soon, given my profession.

14/04/2026: Friendly welcome at the reception. The room is what it is. Location close to main roads, but little to do in the immediate vicinity.

15/07/2026: I asked for cheese sauce in our tacos, but all we got was sauce. The tacos were super sexy, and I got sick right after.

19/08/2026: I've been eating there about once a week for the past 10 years. Eat in or takeaway. Impeccable taste. Never gotten sick despite a documented stomach issue. Warm welcome. Only downside: too small, too old, too ugly. That doesn't stop customers queuing when two other Chinese takeaways less than 50 meters away are empty (I tried them: yuck!).

10/09/2026: Best bar we have been to in the 5 days we've had in Paris. Lively atmosphere, extremely friendly staff (who don't mind my terrible French) and always a nice drink. €5 a pint so half the price of most places. If you're in the area drop in.

10/09/2026: Friendly bartender this Tuesday, October 22nd. I ordered a mojito, but he was out of mint and suggested I look at the menu. I decided to try the Porn Star Martini. He smiled and said he knew I'd order it. And what a pleasant surprise! The cocktail was excellent. I'll be back.
