La Garenne sur Hesdin

Had a great evening at La Garenne. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the food was delicious with many French favourites. We dined in the garden which was perfect for a hot summer evening. Highly recommended if you're in the beautiful Seven Valleys area.

Vandaag voor de tweede keer deze vakantie gegeten bij La Garenne. Net als de eerste keer was het prima vertoeven met heerlijk eten in een mooie ambiance. Zaten we eerder nog binnen, vandaag zaten we lekker buiten. De sympathieke gastheer sprak prima Engels, wat al bijzonder genoeg is in Frankrijk. De samengestelde menu’s zijn afwisselend, ook voor mij als niet-kaasliefhebber. Keuze voldoende voor een prima prijs. Gezellige zaak. Aparte aankleding, Vriendelijke bediening. We werden geadviseerd hier naar toe te gaan. En dat hebben we gedaan: zeker geen spijt gehad.

Four of us arrived with smart boxes, we received a great welcome; a great proposition for aperitif, appetizer, starter, main course, dessert, wine, in a magical timeless place, conducive to serenity. Talking about the decor kept us going throughout the meal. The meal was perfect whatever the dish chosen, no one was disappointed. The place is too charming not to come back, especially since the prices are quite reasonable even when you pay 😉. All four of us came out with smiles on our faces. Without the box we would probably never have gone there because we are from the neighboring department and would not have had the idea of ​​looking for a restaurant there. See you soon !
