05/10/2026: It's a wonderful, authentic restaurant with an old-world atmosphere and impeccable service. Everything is designed for a relaxing stay. All the dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared.
16/09/2026: It has been our favorite restaurant for several years. Excellent cuisine, unique rustic interior decor, and an authentic fireplace with real logs that creates a warm atmosphere. The service is impeccable: white linen tablecloths and napkins, embroidered placemats, porcelain tableware, and a candlestick at each table. On sunny days, we particularly enjoy the shaded terrace. The owner and his team are attentive and very professional.

01/10/2026: This was our first visit to Gu, and we really enjoyed the food and its presentation. The tartare and the terrine starters were delicious, as was the croustillant de porc, and the minestrone of fruit with sorbet for dessert. We hope to return.
03/09/2026: We had dinner there on Wednesday evening. A very good restaurant that I highly recommend. Refined, homemade cuisine. Perfect for a romantic dinner with excellent value for money. Delicious dishes and a delicious crème brûlée! Thank you to the owner.

22/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, we ate very well, reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. The food is fresh and there's something for everyone. The menu offers 6 choices of starters, 6 choices of main courses, and 6 desserts – a diverse selection with something for everyone. You can be sure it's fresh, unlike some restaurants with "10,000 choices." The waitresses were pleasant, and I would definitely go back.
16/07/2026: We went to this restaurant after shopping at the market. A real treat! Excellent service, fresh produce, and a friendly team.
Honestly, we'll be back.

One slight drawback: the noise from the level crossing with the large vehicles. With the gate closed, it's perfect 💕
09/09/2026: Delicious lunch, very reasonable, the sort of spot I aim for every time I want a decent lunch in France. Busy at 12.30 (always a good sign), loads of good home made things.

I had asked for a quiet table, and my request was respected.
The staff and owner were very pleasant.
I had a very good evening.

I highly recommend it!

For our recent wedding, their advice and professionalism were impeccable, from the first tasting session to the very last preparations. On the big day, the pairing was perfect, and the guests were absolutely delighted to enjoy the wines throughout the celebration. Flawless, we recommend them 100%!

29/07/2026: Excellent bread, excellent pastries, so far so good; the problem is everything else. The owner is incredibly moody; one day she'll hold your sleeve for fifteen minutes to tell you about her little woes, the next day she won't even say hello. She seems completely fed up... The problem is that she's rubbed off on her saleswomen, who are even more rude (behind her back, of course). No wonder industrial bread chains are springing up like weeds all over the region...
27/06/2026: The pastry was excellent! We ordered three different things and were surprised by how delicious everything was.
Unfortunately, there was no seating available, and it was very crowded when we were there on Saturday morning. It seems to be very popular.

No apology whatsoever for the extremely long wait…

14/08/2026: Surprisingly good food very skilfully made with some interesting flavour combinations. Service was professional and very welcoming. We had a lovely relaxing evening with good food - what more can you ask. Highly recommend.

14/08/2026: Don’t go here if you struggle to speak French! Staff was rude and charged me twice the rate for tobacco. I wish my impression of the French people was better but sadly this has been a theme.
14/08/2026: Highway Robbery. The man selling us tobacco charged 32 euro for a bag of Marlboro Red. Truly a reflection of our experience so far in France. Beautiful country, the people kind of suck though.
