We discovered La Gazette restaurant to celebrate an event and had a wonderful evening. We chose the €48 menu, and from the amuse-bouches to the petit fours, everything was perfect. Each dish was exquisitely prepared and delicious. Congratulations to the chef for his creativity. Julie

A wonderful experience! Even though I'm a very picky eater, I managed to eat. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable. A special shout-out to the young apprentice; I wish him all the best for his future career. A true culinary delight.

A must-try, it's a true culinary journey for the taste buds. It's worth noting that they only use seasonal products and everything is homemade, from the bread to the puff pastry!

A wonderful birthday meal for my friend, introducing her to some delicious food! Very refined, flavorful, and beautifully presented! The server was attentive and offered a good wine selection. They were able to accommodate her dietary restrictions. 👌🥰 Excellent value for money.

A pleasant experience at La Gazette: excellent value for money, justifying the 5 stars. The dishes are tasty, though not all of the same quality: the chicken ravioli was too thick. The hake with celery risotto was excellent. Dessert: the finger was decent, while the savarin was delicious. There were some nice touches, but also some disappointments: the starters were clearly not up to par, but the rest made up for it. Regarding the service: the waiter was very friendly and pleasant. However, the wait was quite slow, even though we were three tables of two. I'll have to go back to refine my opinion—but overall, the value for money deserves 5 stars.

11/10/2026: Excellent both in terms of the flavors of the dishes, carefully prepared by the chef, and the service. The owner is attentive to his customers and very friendly. We had a wonderful experience and will gladly return. Five stars are well deserved. Congratulations to you both!
25/09/2026: Lunch was perfect. However, they could have done better with the aperitif; peanuts were a bit basic for a €50 meal.

Boulangerie Patisserie Lepenant

06/09/2026: This is a bakery/pastry shop that offers high-quality products and takes great care with its ingredients. The prices reflect this, as do the artisanal work and the quality of the products. It's a well-known and popular spot with locals who come to enjoy bread, pastries, and cakes. There's no option to have coffee on-site because it's on a busy street.
04/09/2026: The window display was enticing, and I decided to go there after reading the Google reviews. And indeed, coming home from the shop, it was tempting... I ordered a set meal with a ham, butter, and Emmental cheese sandwich and a flan, and I added a wedding cake and a traditional baguette. The sandwich was very good, with quality ingredients. The flan was good, but lacked a bit of vanilla flavor, and the filling could use some tweaking; it was a little grainy. However, the pastry was very good and crispy. The wedding cake was good, but clearly lacked texture with its crispy layer; it was rather flat, I think, even though you can see the quality of the ingredients. The baguette was good. The prices are quite high, in my opinion... all these factors justify my 4-star rating. It's a good bakery, but nothing extraordinary considering the prices.
