La Gerbe d’Or sur Le Mans

A great find for lunch and some excellent surprises: homemade dishes that just need reheating! Stuffed tomatoes, shepherd's pie, sausage and mashed potatoes… it's ideal for a quick brasserie meal! The desserts are just as good, with delicious pastries (the Paris-Brest in éclair format is very convenient to devour!).

Cakes just like our grandmother used to make, super delicious! A wide selection of pastries plus homemade dishes. The owners are very professional and the servers are very friendly.

Best bakery in Le Mans. Generous portions, excellent value for money.

Mixed feelings after a lunch break. The raisin bread was good, but the Reblochon "pizza" was very bad, with a distinctly stale taste.
