I recently went to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Grenoble (there's only one), and was disappointed by the ambiance and the food. Last week, I went to an annex of a renowned Bresson restaurant in Voiron; the setting was lovely, but the food was uninspired. For the third time in a short period, we went to La Girolle, and once again, we were very satisfied. A very good meal, beautifully presented tableware, the service was better than in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and all for a lower price. It's no wonder this restaurant has been around for so long, while others close when there's quality; it can only succeed.

A fine-dining restaurant with reasonable prices. I've had the opportunity to visit several times. The menu is seasonal and varies, sometimes fusing different international cuisines while remaining primarily focused on French dishes. The wine selection is also excellent, and the owners offer helpful advice. I particularly appreciate the option of a two-course menu (for an additional fee). The portions are perfect, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my meal every time. I'll be back.

16/08/2026: While visiting Grenoble with my family, I had the pleasure of enjoying this excellent bistronomic restaurant, which is very affordable and incredibly creative. The cuisine is fresh and homemade, and the dishes are beautifully presented: the mimosa egg reimagined as French caviar, the beef tataki, the tomato tartare, and so on. The ceviche is generous, and everything else is equally delicious. The wines offered by the glass are excellent. While the food is fantastic, it's truly enhanced by the absolutely perfect service: professional, attentive, welcoming, friendly, and even a little funny. That evening, August 15th, the waiter single-handedly handled the entire service with good humor and care for his customers. What a pleasure to be served like that! A huge thank you to him in the dining room and to the chef in the kitchen for their generosity and high quality. It was a truly wonderful experience! A must-try in Grenoble on the charming Place de Gordes.

18/07/2026: The restaurant "Le Coq Tail" appeals to me with its balance between tradition and modernity. The chefs reinvent familiar recipes with a touch of creativity while preserving the essence of the ingredients. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for meals with friends as well as more special occasions like after-work drinks.
