La Gourmandaise Maison de Macaron sur Pau

Although I think the name has changed, the place is definitely worth a visit. We had some savory sandwiches, pastries, and of course, macarons, all on their small terrace in the square. Everything was delicious, the prices were good for what you got, and it's in a very quiet spot right in the center of Pau.

Excellent bakery with delicious sandwiches! I highly recommend the duck breast sandwich; it's truly excellent and melts in your mouth. Great atmosphere on the terrace with the "Brigade des Feuilles" (a local food brigade)!

I love this bakery; the macarons are delicious, but not only that. The éclairs, muffins, and yule logs are a real treat, as is their fig bread. The lady with glasses is lovely and always offers great advice. I highly recommend it!

We bought some excellent macarons, all very good and fragrant, and stopped for a drink. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and smiling waitress; you could tell she loved her job.
