La Gourmandine sur Val-D'Isere

Adore The Gourmandine in all ways.. lovely friendly and efficient staff overseen by the ever charming Fabien, good varied menu at a decent price, excellent meeting place right by the slopes.

We had a great time at this restaurant, everything was good: delicious food, very friendly staff, only the price of a kir at €10.50 slightly spoiled the experience.

Wonderful restaurant! Perfect location at the Rond Point, excellent menu and food, super friendly welcome and service. Have been coming here for years, can’t recommend it enough. Great value too for Val D!

Fantastic place with a great team! The dishes are so tempting, you'll want to order everything. The setting is perfect with a lovely terrace, beautiful sunshine, and great music. Go check out La Gourmandine, you'll definitely be back.

We love La Gourmandine and always pay a visit when in Val d’Isere. We always receive a warm welcome upon arrival and the service is excellent. For lunch I recommend the tartiflette burger and a glass of La Blanche. Sit inside where it’s warm and cosy!

My favourite restaurant to visit in Val d'Isere. I have been to VD many many times over the years and La Gourmandine is by far my favourite. The owner (Fabien) is so welcoming and makes the effort to remember his guests. Nothing is overly pompous, it's just traditional French resort food done well. This is one of the few places in Val D where you're not just another in and out holiday maker, it really feels like you're being hosted in the extension of someone's home.

We're repeat customers here multiple times a season for lunch and dinner because of the food, service and staff. Fabien and the team do a great job - long may it continue:)

This is a lovely lunch spot, tasty food and excellent daily specials. A good place to get away from the crowds but being near enough to carry on skiing afterwards. I like it because it’s not touristy or a rip off.

Everything was excellent, we will gladly return!
