Excellent galettes made by the new owner. Very welcoming.

Okay, but nothing special. The waiter, who seemed to be a seasonal worker, appeared to be nearing the end of his season. The kitchen was very slow; it took over an hour for galettes and crepes for two people (and we only chose desserts after our main course had been cleared). The galettes are very thin, which is a matter of taste, and they're quite good, but the ingredients don't seem very high-quality (we ordered an Italian galette with a piece of mozzarella inside when we were expecting a nice ball or half a ball on top and a single basil leaf). We might try again once they've found their rhythm.

A fantastic new spot in Vitré! We tried La Gourmandise shortly after it opened this summer and had a wonderful time. The savory buckwheat crepes are generously filled, crispy, and delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the sweet crepes are just as tempting. The service is friendly, the welcome warm, the prices very reasonable, and everything makes you really want to come back. A great find in Vitré, highly recommended.
