La Gourmandise sur Vitre

New owner since summer 2026. Excellent galettes and crêpes. Great place 👍

Excellent welcome and meal. Very good selection of beers and ciders. Lovely setting, table by the fireplace; I regret not taking a photo. Very good local products (flour from Moulin de la Fatigue, Cola Breizh).

Excellent galettes and a warm welcome. And very good local products.

Don't rely on the overall rating, but rather on the reviews since the change of ownership this summer. The welcome is very friendly, and the galettes are excellent. A place worth knowing about. Best of luck and Go Greens! 😆

A lovely little crêperie, delicious buckwheat galettes, light and crispy – a real treat. Excellent dessert crêpes. Reasonable prices, I highly recommend this place.

A very warm welcome and excellent crêpes made with quality ingredients. I highly recommend this crêperie.

Excellent crêperie. Highly recommended.

Excellent galettes made by the new owner. Very welcoming.

Okay, but nothing special. The waiter, who seemed to be a seasonal worker, appeared to be nearing the end of his season. The kitchen was very slow; it took over an hour for galettes and crepes for two people (and we only chose desserts after our main course had been cleared). The galettes are very thin, which is a matter of taste, and they're quite good, but the ingredients don't seem very high-quality (we ordered an Italian galette with a piece of mozzarella inside when we were expecting a nice ball or half a ball on top and a single basil leaf). We might try again once they've found their rhythm.

A friendly crêperie. Welcoming and attentive staff. A typical spot on the cobbled streets of Vitré.
