La Grand' Voile sur La Faute-Sur-Mer

The welcome was fantastic; we had the homemade mussels and fries, which were excellent and plentiful. We finished our meal with a chocolate and salted butter tart that's definitely worth trying. There's a real sense of generosity at this restaurant. The servers are top-notch, the prices are more than reasonable, and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful time.

A very pleasant restaurant, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. This is our second visit and we're treated like royalty. The mussels are a generous portion, and the quality-price ratio is more than reasonable for their delicious dishes. To the whole team, keep up the great work! 👌🏻

A very good restaurant where you can eat mussels and savory or sweet crepes. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it.

We returned to this restaurant because we had known it for many years when the previous owner made such excellent pizzas. Unfortunately, the new owner kept the name "La Grande Voile" but didn't continue the pizza business! What a huge disappointment! As for the quality of the meal, I would say it was good, but we were very disappointed because the portions were tiny. For example, the mussels marinière are still on the menu but are ridiculously small, yet charged at the normal price. And for dessert, the strawberry tart came with two decorative whipped cream flowers that were barely 1 cm high. It was the first time I'd ever seen such stingy portions 🙄 When the previous owner was there, the portions were generous, especially the whipped cream in the desserts, and it was so appreciated by both children and adults!

We had two wonderful meals at this restaurant and were able to sample a variety of dishes. The friendly welcome will also make us happy to return 😊
