We went there on the day of the Venetian festival, it was packed everywhere, and we were very happy. We went back yesterday at lunchtime, it was very quiet, the welcome and service were excellent, the menu was simple but the meat was superb, the house wine was also excellent, all for a very reasonable price. We had a nice chat with the manager, who was very friendly. A great place to eat.

25/09/2026: A very nice place. 5 guys for an evening out (around 50). Great welcome, very good food. Thank you for a lovely time.
22/09/2026: According to an acquaintance who was satisfied with the restaurant, here is our experience: - Warm welcome and impeccable service - Excellent starter, then perfectly cooked octopus, nothing to complain about. - However, the side dish with the octopus was bland and uninteresting, failing to showcase the delicious octopus. - The half-and-half pizza included mozzarella, which wasn't specified on the menu, and to make matters worse, it didn't melt during cooking and was rubbery. The result: a failed pizza despite the very good crust, and the anchovy side was far too salty. - And a bottle of water wasn't enough to quench our thirst.

17/08/2026: This restaurant is a Martigues institution. The owners have been running it for 40 years, and we're regulars. It's always excellent, whether it's the pizzas, the meats, or the prepared dishes. The owner is in the kitchen, and his wife manages the dining room. We enjoyed a duck leg, a tartiflette, and tripe. We also ordered half a liter of wine, three delicious desserts, and three coffees. The portions are generous and offer good value for money compared to other restaurants of lesser culinary quality. Reservations are essential, as only the downstairs dining room is open, and it can fill up quickly depending on the time of year. Highly recommended.
