La Grange sur Cholet

The food, presentation, and quality of the ingredients were all excellent. For a €39 set menu, it was truly perfect. However, the service was a disappointment. We had lunch on the terrace under a broken parasol that we had to hold onto several times to prevent it from falling on the table before finally asking for a replacement. Furthermore, we had ordered a glass of white wine with the fish, which never arrived. An oversight can happen, but some compensation would have been appreciated. In short, a very good lunch, somewhat spoiled by service that didn't live up to the standard one expects from La Grange. A shame. Congratulations to the chef.

A truly wonderful culinary discovery. The cuisine is excellent, refined, and fully deserves its reputation. However, the service unfortunately falls short. Our starter was served before we had finished our aperitif, which gave an impression of haste. The plates were placed rather abruptly, and a spoon even fell during service, without any real care being taken. We also regretted the disappearance of the amuse-bouche that the previous owners had offered. It's certainly a small detail, but it was a thoughtful touch that contributed to the overall dining experience. In short, excellent cuisine that deserves to be accompanied by more attentive service and attention to detail befitting the establishment's standard.

Passing through the region from Belgium, we had a very pleasant evening with welcoming staff and a delicious meal. It's a shame we live 800 km away. Highly recommended!

There's only one word to describe this culinary experience: exceptional! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and we already want to go back! The staff is remarkably kind and attentive. They give excellent recommendations. A huge thank you! Don't hesitate to make the trip; it's worth it. I recommend it 100%!

For my mother-in-law's 50th birthday, we had an absolutely wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived until we left, including the service and the delicious food, my family and I, who came from Belgium, were blown away. I recommend it 100%. I hope to return someday!

A place where the food is excellent. The dishes are beautiful and delicious... However, the service is disappointing... We were seated under a broken parasol that kept blowing away... We had to ask to be moved... And to top it all off, our dishes were served without the wines we had ordered.... We pointed this out when the plates were being cleared, but no one apologized! Disappointing...

We had lunch at La Grange today. The welcome, the service, and the food were all excellent. We enjoyed this delightful meal in an air-conditioned dining room. We will be back.
