We arrived here because the restaurants on the coast didn't inspire us at all, what luck! Despite a late arrival, we were very well received. We had a market menu for 25 euros with starter, main course and dessert! Unbeatable in quality/price. And what a delight for the taste buds! A beautiful address and a restaurateur present in the kitchen but also with his customers. Thanks for everything!!!

A gastronomic treat, I recommend it 100%

Einer persänlichen Empfehlung folgend reservierten wir einen Tisch zum Abendessen. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem eher unscheinbaren Gebäude von Cogolin, die Einrichtung ist eher modern, einladend, ohne dabei vom Wesentlichen abzulenken, nämlich den Gaumenfreuden. Thierry Barot kann auf eine lange internationale Erfahrung zurückblicken und erfreut nunmehr seit 18 Jahren seine Gäste mit einer modernen französischen Gourmetküche.. Am Abend werden mehrere Drei-Gang-Menus angeboten, darunter ein rein vegetarisches. Die Preise liegen dabei zwischen40-50€ und erschienen uns als sehr angemessen. Erwähnenswert ist vor allem das jetzige Menu auf er Basis von Jakobsmuscheln, die seit einer Woche wieder gefischt werden können.Das Restaurant punktet daneben durch eine Kochschule, die regelmäßig Kochkurse zu besonderen Themen und/oder Produkten anbieten Sehr angenehmer Service, der durch ein angenehmes Gespräch mit dem Küchenchef noch zusätzlich aufgewertet wurde. Gute Weinkarte mit angemessenen Preisen. In der darunter liegenden Etage befindet sich eine gut eingerichtete Küche , in der Kochkurse abgehalten werden. Ein sehr schöner Abend, vielen Dank an Thiery Barot und seiner Equipe!

Superbe déjeuner avec un menu du marché tout à fait remarquable dans ce restaurant situé dans le centre de Cogolin, juste à côté de la mairie. La salle de restauration est à l’étage, le rez-de-chaussée étant occupé par l’école de cuisine du chef. L’accueil et le service sont décontractés et efficaces. Les plats sont excellents et les portions généreuses. Si vous êtes fans, vous pouvez même acheter le second livre de recettes du chef consacré à l’huile d’olive, le premier était focalisé sur le chocolat. Nous reviendrons pour passer d’autres bons moments.

A wonderful and enjoyable experience, completely away from the “jet set hustle and bustle”. We tried our way through the menu on two days - all courses were exquisite. Great value is placed on the quality of the products and they are processed artfully. The boss is extremely personable and interested and the service is friendly and efficient. We'd love to come back!

Fantastic meal! Distinctive, real French cuisine without all the fuss. On the one hand, very basic, but still with a special taste. Enjoyed!

After having met and discussed with the chef of this restaurant in a neighboring restaurant "le cacou" for the city. I told him “we will come and eat at your place”. Good luck, we weren't disappointed. The welcome is warm, the copious dishes worthy of a gourmet, and the bill is very reasonable. Well done to you. See you soon.
