On the advice of the saleswoman at the Grottes Lacave boutique, we went to this restaurant and we don't regret having been there! We called to reserve the restaurant because there were 7 of us and it was already late (1 p.m.). The owner accepted us when we arrived at 1:30 p.m. The service was impeccable! As for the meal, it was delicious 😋 😋 😋 It was excellent with generous portions and affordable prices! My son, who has eyes bigger than his stomach, was well advised by the waiter. He wanted two starters with his main course but the waiter advised him against it because he would never have been able to finish everything! So we took his starter plus a supplement for the foie gras instead of taking the foie gras salad. Too bad but we couldn't have dessert because we had to go visit the Gouffre de Padirac and we had to arrive before 4:20 p.m. (last slot for the visit). And it was our last day of vacation in the Dordogne so it was imperative to end with this visit in apotheosis. Besides, I highly recommend it! I highly recommend this restaurant ! You can go there with your eyes closed 😉

For those who love French cuisine, in particular dishes from Dordogne, Haute Vienne and Corrèze, I mean Foie gras, Calf's head or Walnut fondant, for example, this is a good address. The restaurant is air-conditioned, the premises are very clean and the owner is really friendly. Tourists who take the departmental 704, take a lunch break in this restaurant. You will not be disappointed at all and I am sure of that.

I was a little disappointed with this lunch's meal, we had the very good aperitif but we were served very soft aperitif cakes. Main course OK, dessert good but the panacotta was not very filling served in a half-full wine glass and the same for the very simple cheese plate Camembert etc. we expect it to be good from start to finish especially in a restaurant renowned for its gastronomy otherwise everything else was perfect
