Great restaurant but now in summer 2026 so far (24 juin) this listing on maps continually shows that it is temporarily closed and when we walked by it looks closed. Owners should update status if it is open.

Our favorite place in Villefranche. The service is outstanding, the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious! We have been coming here for more than 15 years and have NEVER been disappointed.

We stayed in the area for 7 days (5 mins walk) to the restaurant and ate here 2 times. We love the cozy ambiance, the great service and the great food! We would have dined there the 3rd time if it was not closed on the day we came back. It's in the heart of old town Villefranche-sur-Mer. La Grignotiere is a must try when you're in the area.

30/06/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been there. The owner has changed since then, and frankly, it shows immediately. On every level. My wife and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful square. The atmosphere on the terrace is warm and welcoming, as is the staff. The menu is very varied. You're sure to find something you like. Special mention to the enormous pavlova!
