A success that does not surprise me: impeccable cuisine, without forgetting the attention given to customers. We see that the restaurateurs and their team love their job! We have a good time there and the prices remain affordable compared to comparable establishments.
Obviously, the reputation of this address requires reservations.

Very nice establishment offering tasty dishes from starter to dessert, flattering both the eyes and the taste buds. The staff provides good advice and takes great care. Beautiful Champagne wine list.

Not the most beautiful location, but a "chaine de rôtisseurs" member that reserves a real specialty:
In the guest room you grill over a real beech fire. And not just standard things like steaks (of course there are those too), but also fish, veal kidneys (!) and goose liver (!!). That seems questionable at first, but believe me: if you can do it, it's worth it!
This is certainly because the method has been refined for decades and the selected ingredients are very fine (also because of the cooking method, which hardly forgives or conceals anything).
The portions of the dishes are generous, not just for French standards, and the preparation focuses extremely on the quality and sensory properties of the product. Fine veal kidneys or extremely sensitively prepared fish are a delight for many eaters. Photos only of my plates - the detail is a cut kidney - fine!
The selection of drinks is also fine, the menu is well stocked and the prices are reasonable. Sure: What costs €40 on the estate can't be had here for €50, but €80 is a very reasonable surcharge; This also stimulates the guests' desire to round off the meal perfectly. Not only champagne, but also wines are well selected.
Urgent advice: reserve! The restaurant is not large (around 40 seats), even at the end of October every chair was occupied.

Good place to eat ( Bib gourmand)
A must have are the escargot’s (snails 🐌) they are really good.
Prices for starters are quite high (€30 for 1 piece of foie gras) but food is generally good.

Ein erstklassiges Restaurant mit sehr gutem Service! Der Besitzer und sein Team kümmern sich vorbildlich um die Gäste.Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Menü für 42,— Euro. Absolut hochwertige Präsentation ( das Auge ist mit) und sehr leckere Geschmäcker. Für uns das beste Restaurant in Epernay. Unbedingt vorher reservieren!

Très beau restaurant , belle déco et bon accueil , les grillades sont cuites au feu de bois devant les clients et de plus elles sont très bonnes . Belle carte des vins , bons desserts , tout était parfait si ce n'est le bruit . Ce restaurant semble fréquenté par tous les locaux , le bruit est insupportable . Si vous voulez une soirée tranquille en couple , oubliez !
