Imaginative French cuisine!
The service was perfect. My partner was offered a complimentary appetizer with my course. The wines were served at precisely the right time for each course. Top-notch! You won't find many restaurants in this price range that do it better.

In Epernay, we dined at La Grillade Gourmande. What a treat! Fantastic in its simplicity! A lovely atmosphere, welcoming, quick service, even if you don't speak a word of French, a fantastic wine list, and delicious food. There were five of us, and we were unanimous.

A truly delightful evening in a warm and inviting setting where every detail has been carefully considered. A superbly run family restaurant with very friendly and professional staff. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive to their customers' needs. We were there with our 3-month-old baby and felt completely at ease, comfortably seated by the fireplace. A very nice selection of wines and champagnes, and high-quality meats cooked to perfection on the restaurant's large grill. We highly recommend it! We can't wait to return!

It’s been almost 12 months since we visited however after stumbling upon a 1 star review I felt compelled. As an Australian who speaks very little French, the wait staff were amazing. Their help with food and wine selection was so professional and put us at total ease. I can only surmise that our 1 star reviewers were 1 star patrons. You get what you give! I will also add that we had no reservation until the amazing team at de Venoge secured a last minute table for us. A true 5 star experience🥰
