We loved the food- everything was delicious, not overly complicated food- a little rich- but absolutely yummy. The wine was superb. The ambience was a little stuffy and dated, but had a lot of character. We would absolutely go again.

Great place for a diner in Epernay. The menu was really nice and short, enjoyed especially the steak. The service was also of the level to enjoy.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. A true inn, very family-run. The only downside: it was a very hot summer day, so it was a bit stuffy inside – and since there were 26 of us (plus 6 other guests), it was almost unbearably loud in the relatively small room.

20/07/2026: During a weekend in the area, we ate at Le Petit Fourneau on Sunday, July 19th, to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, from the aperitif to the dessert, the welcome and service were friendly, and the touches were thoughtful. The beef fillet was delicious and tender, as were all the other dishes. Everything is homemade. A big thumbs up!
