La Guinguette sur Dijon

A true gem discovered completely by chance, and what a wonderful find! This ultra-unique restaurant is run by an exceptional restaurateur who works alone and truly deserves to be congratulated 👏 The dishes are incredibly generous and, above all, delicious, to the point that he even offers doggy bags. The icing on the cake: a complimentary liqueur and lollipop, a little trip down memory lane that brings a smile 😄 A fantastic conversation with this passionate and genuine gentleman. An experience like no other. I recommend it 100% without hesitation!

A very unique, warm, and friendly restaurant with an 80s soundtrack and vintage decor. The portions are so generous you can't finish your plate, or rather, your entire dish. They offer containers for taking home leftovers. The menu mainly consists of gratins, but also includes open-faced sandwiches and omelets. Kudos to the chef who works alone. The wait was very reasonable, and a complimentary digestif was offered. Excellent value for money.

In my opinion this is a Dijon classic

A truly unique restaurant. The portions are enormous. The food is good and the prices are quite reasonable. The owner handles both the service and the cooking himself. There's a bit of a wait for the food. Background music is a welcome addition. The owner isn't the most talkative, but he's very busy. This restaurant only has 20 seats. The lighting is very dim. The decor, while quite elaborate, could use a bit of tidying up, which is part of what makes this place so interesting.

The open-faced sandwiches and gratins were very generous, almost enough for two. The welcome and service were rather unfriendly and not very open to conversation. The decor was unusual.

The meal was beyond expectations.

Don't hesitate to enter this restaurant at the end of a courtyard through an alleyway. Once through the door, we enter a subdued atmosphere with a diverse decor. We hadn't reserved, but I think it's best to do so since there are only about fifteen seats. We ordered two gratins: one with Morteau sausage and the other with andouillette. The portions are very generous; each dish serves at least two. At the end of the meal, the owner, alone at the stove and serving, offers us a glass (a bunch) of blackberry liqueur. The prices are reasonable. If you're looking for something original, don't hesitate for a second!

A place I discovered by chance. To quote the comments, it's very "kitsch." At first, we were a little scared, but in the end, everything was fine! The menus are on little notebooks; it's quite original, a bit simple and childish! The real treasure lies in the dishes. If you're a cheese lover, go for it! But whatever you order, everything is very good and very generous; it's the best quality-quantity-price ratio I've ever seen! If you're lucky, you might even run into the cat ;) All this to say that what best describes La Guinguette is "simple and effective."
