There were people so the service was quite long, no suggestions and not very friendly. However, we ate well.

A sublime place, with a view of the lake, it's a little corner of paradise, the welcome is warm and very professional, it's an emblematic place in Châteauroux, however in terms of meals it's not that, we had lunch there twice and it really wasn't great and this very day we went there for Valentine's Day, the meal a disaster, the starter not too bad, the main course a tiny cod fillet, served with vegetables, the plate was cold, the dessert not great! We were really disappointed, the value for money was really far from there! We're not going to eat anymore!

More pleasant place in summer than in winter. It was relatively cold in the room. The food was good but unfortunately it was also not very hot, too bad...The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It is rare to find restaurants that accept customers after 1 p.m. without reservation and yet this is certainly the case with La Guinguette!! Very warm welcome, it’s a pleasure.
Large indoor restaurant room with possibility of large tables.
Smiling and fast service, a little disappointed by the quantity served of the sauerkraut dish of the day and potatoes but correct. Good feedback on the duck breast and the delicious and well-seasoned goat cheese salads.
A good address to try again in summer.

I'll start with the good points:
The welcome and service is great, the site is nice and the restaurant is clean.
On the negative side:
The food isn't great, it's still expensive in my opinion for what's on the plate.
