La Halle Aux Blés sur Obernai

We always enjoy going there to eat; the food is good and the service is excellent. There's a lovely outdoor terrace, the place is well-maintained, and the restrooms are clean. You can go there without any worries. As for prices, it's a touristy spot, so they reflect that, but they're still reasonable.

Reservation for 9 pm I went there for dinner one evening and arrived a little late. A table was reserved in a nice little corner. The decor is typically Alsatian, and the waiter was friendly. I ordered a flammekueche with Munster cheese, which was delicious and a generous portion. Good establishment; the interior decor is typically Alsatian.

A touristy restaurant, perhaps too much so? Dishes served assembly-line style. Average quality. I was disappointed. The service was adequate, nothing more. There must be much better options outside the most crowded areas.

The food was well-prepared, the waiter was friendly, and the terrace was lovely. The place is very busy, and the tables are close together. So you end up chatting with your neighbors...

Tourist-sized meat, like shoe leather... A waiter who doesn't take your order and forgets about you... This is the second time this has happened to me! I'll organize the group's meal elsewhere next time.

We recently visited La Halle aux Blés, and the experience ended up with a weak 4 out of 5. The food was quite decent in taste, but several details let it down. The most disappointing thing was that the food was served lukewarm. When you order spare ribs, you expect them to be piping hot, and unfortunately, they were a bit off. It quickly gives the impression that the food has been sitting out for too long before being served. The salad that came with it was also a bit limp and lacked the freshness you would expect. In addition, it took a while for the food to arrive, and it makes the experience weaker when the temperature of the food is not quite there. That said, the coffee was a real boost and lifted the overall impression. It was both good and well-balanced, and the ending made the visit overall drag on. All in all, a completely okay experience with clear potential for improvement, but where the ending makes it land at a weak 4.
