Great bar in a prime location in old Rouen, near the antique shops. Plenty of snacks to enjoy with your drink, and the staff are very attentive. The terrace is lovely with a view of Saint Maclou Church. I highly recommend it for a relaxing time with friends ❤️

This is definitely one of the best atmospheres you'll find in Rouen. The quality of the products, the impeccable service, the expert advice—it's a must-visit for both tourists and locals...a rare thing, as it's usually one or the other. I highly recommend it. Does a 6-star rating even exist?

I had a fantastic evening at Le Saint-Maclou. The bar's atmosphere is truly amazing: warm, friendly, and perfect for spending quality time with friends. The owner is a very respectable, welcoming, and above all, very helpful person. You can tell he genuinely loves his establishment and does everything he can to ensure his customers have a great evening. Honestly, we loved our experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend this place in Rouen!

12/07/2026: Had just arrived from Canada and was looking for a place to eat dinner after such a long journey. Luckily Hoian was still open and they were lovely despite my very broken beginner french. Highly recommend.
01/07/2026: It has a very welcoming atmosphere especially the lovely people working there. And the food is out of this world with the taste and value for money with the portion sizes. I would eat there everyday if i could, highly recommend anyone on their way past to go in and try anything on the menu 'cause you wont regret it

17/06/2026: We had made a dinner reservation as a precaution, but it may not have been necessary as it was not yet high season. Walk-ins were welcome. The menu has many options to choose from. We used Google Translate to decipher the menu. Like many bistros, they had a set menu of entree and plat (appetizer and main dish) or plat and dessert (main dish and dessert). My daughter and I recommend the Duck L'orange. My son enjoyed his burger with camembert sauce and my husband's steak was nicely prepared, though it was more medium than medium -rare. Service was warm and attentive and the meals were well-priced. We had a train to catch and they were considerate in ensuring we could enjoy our meal with time to make our way over to the train station. After exploring the sights, dining here was a wonderful way to end our visit to Rouen!
