The food was simple but good. However, we were seated on the terrace in the middle of the square, but the gutters were poorly installed, so water was dripping onto the terrace. I ended up with splashes on my legs. The waiters allowed people to move around, but they assumed our table was spared, which was incorrect. Furthermore, it's a very traditional restaurant that I ultimately found a bit pricey for two people, with a bill exceeding 80 euros on a weekend for two full meals.

08/09/2026: My husband and I ate at Gill four days ago. The food was outstanding, top-notch, classic French. The evening before, we had eaten at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. The food at Gill was even better. They had good wines, and the staff was friendly and very professional. We highly recommend this restaurant; it's a must-visit when in Rouen. Thank you.
